1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website shop.maisontulsi.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by Maison Tulsi, an individual business run by Tulsi Ankaiah, based in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Normandy, France [add SIRET / company registration number here]. By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Products and Availability

We sell teas, infusions and related botanical products. Product descriptions, images and prices are presented as accurately as possible, but colours, packaging or minor details may vary slightly from what is shown on screen.

All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will contact you to offer a substitute, a short delay, or a full refund for that item.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Shipping costs, and any applicable tax, are calculated and shown before you confirm payment.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details — Stripe handles payment data directly, in line with PCI-DSS requirements.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors, even after an order has been placed, and will always contact you before charging any corrected amount.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

Placing an order through the Site is an offer to purchase, which we accept when we confirm your order by email and process payment. We may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion — for example in cases of suspected fraud, a pricing error, or stock unavailability — in which case any payment already taken will be refunded in full.

5. Your Account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please contact us immediately at contact@maisontulsi.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, and the Maison Tulsi name and branding — belongs to Maison Tulsi or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially use this content without our prior written consent.

7. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under French or EU law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, Maison Tulsi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site.

Our teas and infusions are food products, not medicines. Any wellness-related descriptions on the Site refer to taste, ritual and experience only — they are not medical claims and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. If a disagreement arises, please contact us first at contact@maisontulsi.com so we can try to resolve it directly. As a consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform or contact a consumer mediator, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings before the competent French courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services or the law. The version published on the Site at the time of your order is the one that applies.
