Our Story

Before Maison Tulsi, there was a kitchen in Bangalore. My father at the stove, spices crackling, the aroma of cinnamon and cardamom announcing the morning. There was also my mother, drawing rangoli at the doorstep — floral patterns traced in coloured powder before the day had even begun.

Those gestures once seemed ordinary. With time, they became precious.

Maison Tulsi grew from that memory: an India lived every day, made of aromas, hospitality, inherited gestures and simple moments around a cup.

Then came France. A different landscape, a different rhythm, a new home. And the desire not to leave those memories behind, but to give them a new life.

Today, Maison Tulsi connects these two worlds. We select teas and botanicals inspired by Indian traditions, create recipes that are clear, beautiful and delicious, and bring them into the rituals of French life.

Our ambition is not to reproduce India. It is to share it respectfully, through taste.

“Every morning, my father made chai before anyone else was awake. It was never rushed. It was time he gave himself, and gave us, without ever saying so.”
